30 Days of Thanks {Day 3}

In the spirit of the upcoming holiday season, particularly Thanksgiving, I've decided to do a daily post on the things I'm thankful for.  Some days will be serious, some funny, but each day, I'll post about something I'm thankful for. I'd love for you to join along with me, too! Grab the button at the bottom of this post or from the right side bar and add your link each day (or even week if you want to do it that way).

Day 3 {Two Boys}

Today I am thankful for the two cutest, sweetest boys on the planet.  Kevin likes to say I got a three-for-one deal.  I know I hit the jackpot.

My life looks drastically different than it did this time two years ago and I couldn't be happier.  These two sweet boys (and their Daddy, too!) have brought more life, love, and joy to my life than I could have imagined.  Every day with these two special little guys is a blessing and one I don't take for granted.

Loving the boys and getting to be their Anna Belle (a name Kaden started calling me last year, not my middle name) is one of my greatest joys.  I pray that these sweet boys always know the love that I hold in my heart for them and see it in my actions.

I am thankful for the bond the boys and I have.  What could have been an adjustment and taken time, didn't.  And I know it's all because of Him.  God knew that one day, the four of us would be a family.  He prepared each of us for the life we have today and He's answered so many mothering prayers of mine already in ways I wouldn't have expected, but I can't imagine them being answered any other way.

I am thankful for the sweet smiles, sparkling eyes, rolling laughter, hand holding, and snuggling time we have. I am thankful for the bike rides, football throwing, soccer playing, swing set swinging, coloring, and reading we do.  I'm really just thankful for them and for the huge blessing they are to me.
