I like to do posts each Monday about our weekends and the fun we've had.  This weekend was no different, but this Monday, I can't seem to pull a post together.  There are no words that can express what we're all feeling about what happened this past Friday.  My prayers are with those who are grieving and in need of comfort, the children, families, and town.  My prayers are with our nation.

I'll be taking part in a day of silence tomorrow and will be back on Wednesday to link up (a day late) with The Nester for the Christmas Home Tour and to share some of the things we've done and are doing for Christmas.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”  John 16:33

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:3-5
