We had a great, fun-filled weekend! We spent some great time playing Saturday and finished decorating our house.
On Saturday night, my parents and sister and Kevin's parents came over for dinner. We had lots of great food including to-die-for biscuits (I'm sharing the recipe tomorrow!). After dinner, we went to see Bethlehem. A retirement home in our town does a Bethlehem drive/walk thru each year that we like to go to. The boys especially liked it! They have a whole village set up that you walk thru and activities for the kids to do along the way. They got to turn corn into feed, "make" candles, and get leather bracelets. The walk thru ends with hot chocolate!
Our sweet K.C. woke up with fever Saturday night, so yesterday was spent mainly lounging around our house. Santa did come through our neighborhood (on a fire truck!), so we had to check that out. We wrote letters to Santa that K.C. gave him (Poor Kaden was too scared to come outside to see Santa, so as soon as he got his lolly pop from the elves, he bolted in the front door!).
Last night, we drove around and looked at Christmas lights and finished making our list of things left to do.
We're looking forward to another fun-filled week with a children's Christmas party at my work, Kaden's Christmas program at school, and a birthday party for Kevin's sister this weekend.
I just love this time of year!

I love my iPad and I know I'd love an iPad Mini, too! We take our iPad with us when we travel, I use it during lunch at work to read great blogs, the kids love playing games on it and listening to books through iBooks, and my husband uses it to keep up with sports. It's great to have at night when you really want to see something on a screen larger than your iPhone, but don't feel like opening your computer.
I know I'd love the iPad Mini as much as I love our iPad. I'm sure you'd love to have one, too - especially if you got it for FREE.
