Random Wednesday {February 13, 2013}

Linking up with Shanna!

I've been daydreaming about the beach all day.  I'm ready for warm weather and relaxation!

I sometimes secretly want to be a fashion blogger like the gorgeous Shanna.  That will require me taking photos and uploading them to the computer.  When I think about that, I change my mind!  But seriously, I'd like to do some fashion posts.

I know I've talked about my love / hate relationship with sandwiches before.  I make myself one for lunch most days and most days when I've packed a sandwich, I end up driving myself to a fast food restaurant and order a hot sandwich instead.  This can only mean one thing: I need to find other good lunch foods.

I have to confess: I read this book called Waking Up Married that I downloaded for free from iBooks last week.  It's one of those Harlequin books {I haven't ever read one of those before}, but I enjoyed it.  It wasn't too trashy and was a quick and easy read.

I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing Safe Haven this weekend.  I loved the book and I'm dying to see the movie.

My workouts the last two weeks have not been great.  I haven't gotten as many runs in as I'd like and the gym and I have spent very little time together.

Is it bad that all I want to do tonight is go for a run, eat some dinner, take a bubble bath and make treat bags with the boys?  This has been a week.

Even though I haven't gone to the gym this week, I've been exercising some.  My sore shoulders are proof.  I did some pull ups yesterday and can feel it majorly.

Do you give something up for Lent?  I was going to give up fried foods and most drinks other than water, but I've already lost that battle with the french fries and tea I had.

I have all these things I want to do: projects, crafts and recipes to make, but I have no time.  I have got to get a handle on how to have more time to do things that I'd like to do and not just things I have to do.

I'm planning to make a sweet breakfast for my husband and boys in the morning.

I really like Random Wednesday because I can post about all the random things in my mind and don't have to worry about them all fitting together!

I never typically take something away from myself for Lent... I just try to be more intentional with my goals and focus harder, being more aware of the sacrifice Jesus paid for us! :) I looove random Wednesday!!
