snackTAXI {Giveaway}

I don't know about you, but I find myself using hundreds of plastic bags - sandwich and snack - each month. With two little ones, I'm always using them to send in a treat for snack time at preschool and for kindergarten lunch. I also use them when I pack lunch for myself, not to mention the ones that are used to take treats with us somewhere like when we go shopping or to church.

I believe a healthy lifestyle is so important. If you've hung around here any amount of time, you know I love to run and that I'm trying to eat cleaner. A few weeks ago, as I was using a ton of plastic bags while putting together the boys' lunches for the week, it was like a lightbulb went off. I go to so much trouble to make sure that I can exercise even on busy days and I try my best to make sure I'm feeding my family healthy food, but I'm using all of these plastic bags which isn't good for the environment and I'm essentially throwing away money.

Enter: snackTAXI. snackTAXI is the producer of reusable snack and sandwich bags among other items. snackTAXI's mission is "to make high quality, affordable reusable bags that empower everyone to reduce waste, while embracing business practices that respect our community, environment, and Earth."

snackTAXI's products are so easy to use. You simply pack your lunch like always, and instead of throwing away your plastic bag, you throw your snackTAXI bag in your washer with your dirty laundry.

I love using the sandwich-sack I received and I'm going to give away a snack-sack. The snack-sack is perfect for any snack and is even large enough to fit a sandwich (especially for your little ones). snackTAXI has many designs to choose from and you can even make your own bag!

For a chance to win a snack-sack from snackTAXI, enter the giveaway below. The winner will be notified via e-mail by 12 PM, Thursday, April 11th. Only readers living in the U.S. are eligible to win due to shipping.
