Thankful Thursday

I had another post planned for today, but I decided to do a Thankful Thursday post today. I'm not going to lie, yesterday wasn't my favorite day. It was one of those days where I woke up not feeling like myself and in a funk, a day where I missed my morning run which always makes everything better, a day where work ended up being slightly frustrating and a day that didn't end like I wanted it to. But it's ok because we all have days like that sometimes and I just have to learn not to beat myself up when my day isn't 100% because nobody's perfect. And that's just a reminder for me to remember to do just that. So, today is a new day, a fresh slate and a clean start, so why not celebrate the things I'm thankful for, including those not-quite important things?

My husband
I'm so thankful for him and our marriage. I can't believe that on Sunday, we will be married for one year! I honestly can't remember my life without him in it. I'm thankful God created us for each other.

My boys
I've wanted to be a mama for as long as I can remember. I'm so thankful for our two boys. They bring more joy than I could have ever imagined to every day.

My job
I'm thankful to have the job I have which doesn't even feel like work most days.

Running
I love to run and I'm thankful that I've fallen in love with something that's so good for me.

Cooking
I love to cook, but I just don't feel like I have the time to do so as much as I want. One of my favorite places to be is in the kitchen expect during dishes time!

Tracy Negoshian and J.Crew
I kid you not, my entire wardrobe this time of year (and if I'm being realistic, most of the year) is made up of TN dresses and J.Crew. Throw in a couple pairs of skinny jeans from Old Navy and you've got it all. In fact, I think I'll do a post on this.

Bloggers
I love blogging for so many different reasons, but some of the main reasons are the friendships I've made and the inspiring posts I read. Erin, Blue-Eyed Bride, is doing her 30 Days on creating White Space and it's inspired me to figure out how to make some white space in my life because I need it. And today, Lisa-Jo Baker wrote an awesome post on why you should date your husband. I'd encourage you to check both of these blogs out if you aren't already a reader.

Easy, Healthy Snacks
I'm glad Clif Bars were invented. They make for a great post-long run snack and they're even good for breakfast. And I love these GoGo Squeez apple sauces. I know I'm not four and my four-year old won't even eat them, but they're good!

So, tell me, what things are you thankful for today?
