A Catch Up

Hello, there! It's been a while. A long while. Totally unintentionally, too.

We've been having lots of fun lately and I can't wait to tell you about it.

Today, I thought I'd catch you up where I left off... in February. And since there's a lot, I think a list for this Thursday afternoon will do just fine.

We went to Maggie Valley, NC, for a long weekend over Valentine's Day with my family. We had a great time tubing and hiking, but then a big snowstorm came in and since we were literally staying in a house on top of a mountain, we were encouraged to leave.

And I may have gotten this from my big boy:

K.C. finished his basketball season.

He may have been a little worried about the free throw!

The boys started soccer.

We went to my grandmother's house and she gifted me a number of my grandfather's books. More special than that - some notebooks filled with his writings.

Lots of sweet time, fun dates, and even housework with this guy.

I won my first race as in the whole entire race!

Our new neighbors moved in and the kids have been having a blast.

I ordered my first Chatbook as a gift for Kevin's birthday.

This little guy and I have been cooking up a storm.

I ran a race in the rain. In a downpour on a trail through the woods. I was 1st female and 2nd overall. Happy girl and not a pretty picture, but I was soaked.

And we celebrated this guy's birthday! His favorite breakfast complete with a candle in the cinnamon roll and a Clemson party (courtesy of the boys) this weekend.
